Mary Jo Carney is Magdala's Director of Formation & Campus Partnerships.
Magdala Ministries exists to serve women of faith who want to change their sexual habits, compulsive sexual behavior, or sex addiction through support, community, and accountability. Magdala exists as a space where women can find hope, healing, and freedom alongside one another through virtual or campus-based small groups. Originally from the midwest, Mary Jo relocated to Florida to finish her BA in psychology at Ave Maria University where she met Rachael and began getting involved in ministry for women with sexual addiction. Currently, she is studying for a master's degree in psychology at Georgia Southern University, and spends her free time singing, dancing, or doing absolutely anything out-of-doors.
